Is ApexLog free?
Right now, yes — ApexLog is completely free while it's in its development phase. Down the track it will move to a free tier plus an optional Pro tier, but for now you get full access at no cost.
Do I need a lap timer to use it?
No — ApexLog has a free built-in lap timer that works straight away using your phone's GPS. To get the very best out of it, we recommend pairing with a RaceBox or SpeedAngle for higher-rate, more precise data like accurate lean angle and G-force. The phone timer has fewer features than those dedicated units, but it's a great way to start with no extra gear.
I've never done a track day. Is this for me?
Absolutely — ApexLog is built to make your first track day easier. It recommends tyre pressures for your bike and the weather, gives you a pre-session checklist so nothing's forgotten, lets you save notes on track maps, and there's a friendly community to ask any question. No experience needed.
Which bikes does it work with?
Any bike. You set up your bike in the garage with its make, model and details, and ApexLog tailors things like tyre pressures and setup presets around it. You can add more than one bike too.
Which tracks are supported?
ApexLog currently includes mapped Australian circuits with sector timing: Sydney Motorsport Park (Gardner GP & South Circuit), One Raceway, Phillip Island, Queensland Raceway, Morgan Park, The Bend (International & West), Collie Motorplex (Long & Short), Wanneroo Raceway (Full & Short), Luddenham Raceway, Pheasant Wood and Broadford — plus a custom track option. More circuits are being added over time.
Can I bring data from RaceBox or SpeedAngle?
Yes. You can connect a RaceBox live over Bluetooth, download a standalone RaceBox recording afterwards, or import SpeedAngle (.sa) files and manual sessions — so the data you already have all lives in one place.
Is it on both iPhone and Android?
Yes — ApexLog is available on both the App Store and Google Play. Grab it from the links on the home page.
I forgot my password. How do I reset it?
On the sign-in screen, tap Forgot password and enter the email address you signed up with. You'll be sent a secure link to set a new password. If it doesn't arrive within a few minutes, check your spam/junk folder, and make sure you used the same email you registered with.
How do I delete my account?
You can delete your account from within the app. Deleting is permanent — it wipes all of your data from our servers (your community account, posts, setups and comments) as well as clearing the app's local data on your device. Nothing is kept, and it can't be undone. If you'd like help, email us at
apexlogau@outlook.com.
How do I report a bug or get help?
The easiest way is right inside the app — open the menu (the drawer on the left) and use the
Report a bug option to send us the details. You can also email us any time at
apexlogau@outlook.com. Including your phone model and a screenshot helps us fix things faster.
How do I report or block another user?
ApexLog is a friendly, moderated community. On any post, reply or profile you can report or block a user — blocked users are hidden from your feed instantly. Reports are reviewed and acted on so the community stays a good place to be.
